There are places where even the stones, the sea and the sky are telling stories about the beauty. Sicily is one of them. The province of Agrigento, the ancient heart of the island, with its majestic temples, its white cliffs on the Mediterranean sea, its Arab architecture, its countryside made of almond trees and grapevines, is representing an island in the island, a place rich in history, traditions and literature.
Licata’s coast is very beautiful, sandy on its east part and rocky with dramatic cliffs alternate to pebbly beaches on its west side. This is one of the most nice and interesting coastlines of southern Sicily!
The little town is an ideal place to spend your holidays, it offers pleasant walks through the charming alleys, great hospitality, courtesy, good food and amazing seaside.
We also offer a very rich cultural life with the Valley of The Temples that is located very close to Licata. Do not forget about the wine tours! This part of the Island is very famous for the wineries where you can taste some of the best Italian wines.

Superbe séjour à la villa Melinda avec vue à couper le souffleUne vue exceptionnelle sur la mer, une villa magnifique où l’on se sent privilégié.Il est difficile d’aller à la plage à pieds par le chemin très pentu. Seule une personne avec une bonne condition physique peut le faire facilement. Je le déconseille. Il vaut mieux y aller en voiture.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Melinda. The hosts were so kind and helpful with everything and made our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. The villa has one of the most amazing views at the beach and it’s amazing to spend time at the terrace and enjoy the silence and beauty of Sicily. I would definitely come back again - thanks for this amazing stay.
A wonderful stay in every way
Not only was the property and view stunningly beautiful but our hosts were absolutely lovely. They left us a traditional Sicilian meal and a bottle of Prosecco which was enjoyed tremendously after a long journey there. My bag had been lost and Melinda was so helpful in communicating with the airline to help me get my bag back. We feel blessed to have been able to share their home, while in southern Sicily and their kindness went so far above and beyond. We are hopeful we can return again someday!
Fantastisk hus og beliggenhed.
Vi nød en uges ophold i dette fantastiske hus hvor man døgnet rundt kunne slappe af på en af de mange terrasser eller nyde den fantastiske udsigt over havet. Med en super børnevenlig strand for enden af vejen og et super godt pizzeria rundt om hjørnet behøvede vi faktisk ikke meget mere. Faktisk er billederne af huset lidt misvisende. Det er meget bedre end hvad de viser. Licata og området er noget træt og desværre fuldt med skrald, hvilket ødelægger noget af idyllen. Dog vågner byen op om aftenen og har en rigtig autentisk stemning med de mange små restauranter m.m. Helt sikkert et hus vi kan anbefale og gerne lejer igen. Så hvis du er til afslapning med familien og ikke har det store behov for at fare rundt og besøge attraktioner, så er det huset, hvor den store familie kan hygge sig sammen, men hvor man også kan trække sig til sit værelse eller en af de mange terrasser og kroge.
Herausragende Unterkunft in schöner Aussichtslage
Die Villa Melinda ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Die Lage ist ein Traum mit Meerblick und sehr schönem Garten zum Verweilen. Man könnte sich den ganzen Tag dort aufhalten. Es gibt mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten außen, so dass man sich auch zurückziehen kann....Schatten-und Sonnenplätze. Die 3 Schlafzimmer und 3 Bäder sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir nutzten die Außenküche zum kochen und grillen. Sehr vorteilhaft. Wir waren sehr begeistert und hätten es nicht besser erwischen können. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, haben alles erklärt und als wir ein Problem hatten, kam Giuseppe sofort. Der Weg zum Meer ist zu Fuß machbar, auch wenn er sehr steil ist. Am Meer gibt es bei Lido Felix Sonnenschirm mit 2 Liegen, zu trinken und essen, zu günstigen Preisen. Der Marianello Strand ist sauber und groß. Nach Licata sind es nur 3 Minuten mit dem Auto. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
The villa was breathtaking.
The villa was breathtaking. A lot of outdoor spaces to relax. The views were spectacular. Kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is great. The hosts were helpful and made us feel at home. The beach is about 300 meters down a very steep road which was not easy to go up and down. There are two bars on the beach with lounge chairs for rent and drinks/food, one to the right and one to the left. We preferred the one on the right. The villa was peaceful but the location is out of the way which means that you will need a car to get anywhere. The hosts rented us a car and showed us where to get groceries. There was a problem with the trash as there are no bins within the villa grounds or anywhere close where you can dispose of the garbage.
Villa Melinda is a beautiful place
Villa Melinda is a beautiful place, so many lovely places to relax and all with an amazing view of the sea. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The nearest beach is lovely reached by a short walk up and down the steep hill. The is a friendly bar with sun beds to the far right which we loved.

Das Haus ist genauso, wie auf der Homepage. Ein Traum. Guiseppe und Melinda haben sich von Anfang zu 100% gekümmert und waren immer für uns da. Großartig. Wir werden wieder kommen

We so enjoyed staying at Villa Melinda. The location and view is stunning and so close to the beach. Whilst staying in Licata, we were able to visit some of Sicily's highlights such as Agrigento and the Villa Romana del Casale. Our hosts were very charming and so helpful. We had a wonderful holiday.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday at the villa, which is fabulous and the view of the sea is spectacular. The villa was perfect for the 4 of us but could also easily accommodate 6 people. The outdoor space is well designed to give you lots of options on places to sit in either the sun or the shade . A great place to relax at. The beach is only a 5 minute walk down the hill from the villa and has beautiful sand. It is a long stretch of beach, so easy to find a quiet spot if you want to. The ice cream at Dolce Vita in the centre of Licata is worth a visit. Highly recommend this villa.
