Casa Augusto is located in a historic building in Rome from the late 19th century. Very bright, quiet and equipped with every comfort, located in a quiet street and with a splendid view of a huge private garden.
The 100sqm apartment consists of a very nice living room with comfortable sofa, Smart TV, Bluetooth radio, books and guides about Rome and Italy, dining area with large table, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with 160 cm width double beds and 2 bathrooms. The 2 bedrooms and the living room overlook the beautiful garden.
Air conditioning, washing machine, independent heating and one of the fastest free internet connections in Rome are available for our guests.
For your safety we provide a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, a smoke carbon monoxide detector and a gas sensor.
The furnishings have been carefully designed to create a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere with a typical touch of Italian elegance.

The apartment is located in a historic building from the late 19th century on the third floor. There is an elevator. To access the lift there are 4/5 steps.
Area
We are located in the Sallustiano district, just 1 km from Piazza Barberini and 1.4 km from the Trevi Fountain. The apartment is located in a unique area of Rome. The location is perfect in balancing the proximity to all the touristic wonders of the city and the authenticity of an area still inhabited by real Romans. You will find yourself one step away from the beauties of the historic center of Rome but in an original environment, with numerous non-tourist activities, restaurants enjoyed by locals, an ancient fruit, vegetable, fish and meat market still very much alive (Piazza Alessandria), Villa Borghese one of the most beautiful parks in the city and various public transport that connect the neighborhood to the heart of the city in just a few minutes.
Upon arrival, each guest over the age of 10 must pay 6 euros per night for the City Tax (only for the first 10 nights in case of long stays).
This holiday home has been duly approved by the Municipality of Rome.

The location was superb
The apartment was just as described - on the third floor with lots of light, good sized rooms and everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Communication with Marta was great and she was very responsive, the location was superb - we walked everywhere and didn't need public transport and we ate in a different local restaurant every night, just a few minutes walk from the apartment. The beds were modern and the mattresses good quality but quite hard (for me at least). We've had a fantastic holiday and loved every minute of it.

Appartement très agréable, calme et lumineux donnant sur la villa Bonaparte et ses jardins. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les livres et guides touristiques laissés à disposition. Les commerces quasiment au pied de l'immeuble ont été très pratiques pour les courses en rentrant de nos visites.

We liked many of the cozy atmosphere
We liked many of the cozy atmosphere, with interesting details. Towns and paintings decorating the walls, many books to read and many of them about Italy and Rome. A good house to return to after long walks around the city.
Location is great!
Location is great, apartment is spacious and clean, very comfortable and a great base for Rome away from the busy tourist areas. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores.

I loved this apartment.
I loved this apartment. It felt like stepping into a well loved home stocked with books and wonderful prints on the walls. Even though the setting is urban, the apartment looks out to tree tops so it's an oasis. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The living area was comfortable at the end of a day. The beds were comfortable. There was a small grocery store within a block and multiple restaurants within a five minute walk. We walked everywhere, though the walk to the train might be too long for some. I was delighted to discover that we were only a few block from the old city walls. Communication was always good. In short, it was a great place to stay. If I had an apartment in Rome, this is the one I would want!
